What To Expect During Your Pool Construction

What To Expect During Your Pool Construction

If you are thinking about having a pool installed, then it is important that you know what to expect. This can help you to feel more prepared and help the process to go smoothly. Here are three things to expect during your pool construction.

Planning

The first step of the pool construction process is planning. This involves you and the professional contractor sitting down and discussing exactly what you want your pool to look like, where you want it to be located, what features you want, etc. This allows the contractor to create a detailed design for your pool before they begin and helps you to see what your pool will look like. This is also the time when changes can still be made because none of the construction has been started yet.

Construction

The second phase of the pool construction process is the actual construction of your pool. During this time, there will be the groundbreaking to start the pool and the plumbing and framing will be put into place. The pool masonry will be carefully completed, followed by plaster and finally water. This is the longest part of the pool construction process because so much must be done in order for your pool to be completed.

Final Inspection

Once your pool has been completed, it has to pass the final inspection. This is a crucial part of the pool construction process, because you can’t actually use your pool until it has passed this inspection. At this point, if there are any fixes that need to be made, they will be taken care of. Once they are completed, you can now enjoy your new pool.
